AMD Shanghai R&D Center (SRDC) GraphicsPlatform engineering (GPE) team has immediate opening for a thermal/mechanicalengineering intern. Key responsibilities of the position was listed as belowKeyresponsibility·      Develop measure and validate newthermal solutions for new designs. Responsible for estimatingand testing thethermal performance of AMD dGPU products and the corresponding thermalsolutions. ·      Support on the preparation ofthermal test documents, as well as analyzes thermal modeling data from appropriatetools. ·      Coordinate and communicateproject status with internal program teams.·      Support acoustic testing, andestimate the acoustic performance. Requirements·      M.S. degree in Thermal/MechanicalEngineering or related background·      Strong user of CAD tools(AutoCAD* or Pro*/Engineer*) is a plus·      Familiar with thermal test toolsuch as temperature data logger, IR camera, air chamber, etc. is preferred·      Knowledge of tolerance analysis,reliability testing and structural analysis·      Good English communication skills,both written and oral.·      Have a strong sense ofresponsibility and commitment to teamwork ·      Guaranteeto work for 3-days at least per week Thisteam is essential to the success of AMD as a growing company.
