Role &Responsibility:

Thequalified candidate will join Intel DEG (Datacenter Engineering Group) – as aSoftware Engineering Intern. He/she will participate in server management softwaredevelopment and validation for Intel server products. The majorresponsibilities include (but not limited to): develop, test and debugmanageability software solutions as well as co-work with various otherfunctions (e.g. BIOS, ME, validation) and cross-geo teams per needs. Highperformance candidate may also get the opportunity to manage small-scale projector innovation initiatives independently after practices.

Qualification:

Thecandidate must have software development and testing experience in the past sothat he/she will gain reasonable level of understanding on the technicalcontent of the project, which is critical for him/her success in this position.Key skills and knowledge include (but not limit to):

-      Experience of embedded Linux development and/or testing.

-      Good programming and debugging skills in C language

-      Knowledge or experience on software validation, system installation,test environment setup will be a good plus

-      Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, I2C and USBdrivers will be a good plus

Thecandidate should also demonstrate following skills and capabilities:

-      Quick learning ability to ramp up in theproject timely.

-      Great passion on assigned job and task,and have good teamwork spirit.

-      Excellent timeand priority management skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-drivenenvironment sometimes.

-      Good English and Mandarin communicationskills, and strong interpersonal skills to be able to coordinate/interface withteam members and stakeholders.

Thecandidate must be able to commit the internship for at least 12 months, and beavailable in Intel office at least 4 days per week.
