1. Job Title: Engineer, Silicon Validation (Intern)

Department: Channel System

Location: Shanghai

Qualifications:

M.S.E.E + 0 years. Experience working in an IC testing environment with equipment such as Oscilloscopes and AWG's is desired but not required. Proficiency with Matlab or Python is desired but not required. Direct experience with Read Channels and hard disk drives is desired, but not required.

Department profile:

Silicon Validation Engineering group for Read Channels is responsible for validating all read channel devices designed by Marvell. The activities also include performance measurement and automation of the tools used for validating the read channel. The group is also responsible for the hardware and software design of all tools required for the above two activities.

Responsibility:

- Design and execute system level tests for complex mixed signal ICs using standard test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.- Work with designers to debug, understand and document new designs.- Provide technical documentation, descriptions and information to Field Application Engineers, Test Engineers and customers.- Write and maintain software used to automate bench testing. This is done in the MATLAB environment for now; may move to other tools in future.- Generate professional validation reports and comparative performance analysis of the read channel devices.- Work with DSP and design teams to find the best optimization procedures for Marvell read channel products.- Make sure we can showcase the best read channel performance on customer drives.

2. Job Title: Operating System Design Engineer (Intern)

Department: CPU R&D

Location: ShanghaiBusiness Unit

Introduction:

CPU R&D group in Shanghai is chartered to develop and deliver world-class high frequency and low power CPUs which are compatible to ARM v7/8 ISA, joint-design with Operating System for mobile and server. The group also delivers high quality and complete development tools, modeling and optimization solutions for Marvell CPUs in Marvell application processors, communication processor, video processors, storage processors, printer processors and etc. With company’s business and R&D expansion in China, we are looking for talented engineers (intern) who would like to join us to experience the opportunities from Marvell’s rapid growth.

Job Description:The work includes Operating System analysis, design and optimization; joint-design with Marvell CPUs which are compatible to ARM v7/8 ISA:- Analysis cutting-edge Operating Systems for its architecture and hotspot of performance and low power.- Co-design with multi-core CPU modeling for better performance and low-power.- Influence the design choice of current OSs.- Design of detection system for CPU error.- Bring-up of Operating System on new CPU.- Design and develop profiling tools for CPU performance analysis- Kernel performance analysis and optimization

Qualification (Meet some of the qualification are accepted):- BS/MS/PhD in electronic engineering/computer science (or equivalent)- Strong Operating System knowledge, experienced in Linux development is a must- Strong programming and debugging skills is a must- Strong programming skill in C/C++ is a great advantage- Knowledge and working experience on ARM architecture, profiling and optimization, with essential knowledge of compiler/ assembler/linker is a great advantage- Strong CPU architecture/micro-architecture knowledge is a plus- Experienced in Eclipse/SWT is a plus- Fluent communication in both Chinese and English

3. Job Title: Software Engineer for embedded system (Intern)

Department: Central Engineering System
Location: Shanghai/Nanjing

Job Description:

- Implement application-layer and network layer protocols according to given standardsDefine and implement API interfaces between layers and between network stacks and user application- Participate /Support team members working on lower layers.- Support QA team to bring-up test software

Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, M.S. preferred- Be familiar with developing software for embedded system, wireless embedded experience preferred- Been through a full-life cycle of software product- Good understanding on software development with RTOS- Hands-on experience on compilers, toolchains, and debuggers (JTAG/ICE) for embedded software development- Solid experience on application development (C++ or Java) and SDKs (Visual studio/GNU)- Familiar with source version control (Subversion/Perforce)- Good communication skills in verbal and written English- Willing to learn, self-starter

Plus:- Familiar with TCP/IP network stack- Solid experience on device driver, TCP/UDP socket programming and GUI development (Windows/Linux)- Familiar with at least one script language (Perl, Python, Shell)- Experience on software development with embedded ARM platform.- Experience on software development for low-power system.- Experience software development for wireless network and related protocols/standards- Hands-on experience in logic analyzer, oscilloscope, network protocol analyzer, and packet sniffer

4、英语能力出色，能熟练运用Office办公软件。

5、研二或大三学生优先考虑。6、会设计者优先。
