TIP Customer Engagement & Strategic Projects China is part of a global organization in SAP to drive technology innovation via customer co-innovation.  By attracting top talents in many key technology areas, we are growing rapidly in China with two primary offices located at SAP Labs China, Shanghai Pudong Software Park and Beijing Zhongguancun Science & Technology Park.

Our team work on building new, beautiful, break through application or by renewing existing applications on SAP HANA to bring it to our customers (installed base customers and new customers) for their productive usage in a substantially faster pace, accompanying by creating significant revenue opportunity for SAP in its future growth.         Below are listed down 2014 CE&SP team’s FTE(Full-time employment) hiring positions in Beijing;
        Previous internship experience in relative area would be an asset;
        Below positions also available for 2015 graduates for internship;
        There would be an opportunity to gain the full-time employment if interns performed excellently during their internship when graduated, however positions limited, early birds catch the seats.

1.        UI Developer
As an UI Developer, you are expected to do the followings:
        Create user-friendly interface using HTML + CSS   +   JavaScript;
        Understand business requirements with the help of mentor;
        Develop front-end interface with defined technical designs;

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
        Master/Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant information technology area
        Fluent in oral and written English

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
        Master JavaScript/CSS/HTML5
        Have a deep understanding of the Frontend Libraries/Frameworks, such as jQuery/d3/YUI/Backbone/Angular…
        Good at Web standards and building solutions using semantic markup
        Good at backend JavaScript Coffeejs / Node.js is a plus.
        Know a backend language such as java/c#... is a plus.
        Good communication skills
        Good team player
        One or more key professional competencies:
                 UX design and UI development.
                Big data visualization.

2.        UX Designer
As an UX Designer, you are expected to do the followings:
        Understand and analyze business requirements;
        Collaborate with various people from developers to end users and design UI for different scenarios;
        Develop user interface designs with various prototype techniques;
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
        Master/Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant information technology area
        Fluent in oral and written English

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
        Strong experience in design and development tools including AI,  Flash, Flex and Photoshop;
        Experience on 3D modeling, creative coding is a plus;
        Experience on animation design is a plus;
        Good coding style;
        Good English speaking and writing;
        Good communication skills and team player abilities

3.        Application Developer
As an application developer, you are expected to do the followings:
        Implement the prototype based on the design proposal;

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
        Master/Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant information technology area
        Fluent in oral and written English;

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
        Experience on web application development like JSF, JSP, Servlets would be a plus;
        Proficient in Eclipse based programming such as Eclipse;
        Good knowledge in SQL, Java and Design Pattern;
        Debugging & troubleshooting skills;
        General business application knowledge is a plus;
        Experience on mobile application development is a plus
        Good coding style;
        Good English speaking and writing;
        Good communication skills and team player abilities;

4.        Algorithm Developer
As an algorithm developer, you are expected to do the followings:
Contribution to Topic Area
        Focus on dedicated  topic
        Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained

Project support
        Supports Researcher and team in dedicated project or within a dedicated topic and may participate in ad hoc projects
        Perform system analysis and programming activities
        Participates in the development of patent applications
        Supports acquisition of internally and externally funded  projects through expertise acquired

Position within Research
        Position operates under close supervision

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
        PhD/Master degree in computer science, software engineering, statistics, mathematics, business administration, or relevant information technology area
        Fluent in oral and written English

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
        Innovation Thinking with good sense of customer focus and business acumen;
        Good records in publications and/or patent filing;
        Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures;
        Grasp software engineering fundamentals(e.g.: database system and SQL) with good analytic and problem solving skills;
        Ability to carry out independent research under the help of mentor;
        Ability to translate complex business problems to math problems;
        Ability to evaluate applicability of academic research to concrete business problems
        Ability to translate from research to working code;
        Good communication skills and result driven oriented;

5.        Technical Writer
As a technical writer, you are expected to do the followings:
        Responsible for assisting the technical writers in the team to write documentation in English for SAP’s software products;
        Develop the information critical to customers’ success with SAP product;
        Write documentation includes developer guides, installation guides, user guides, and online help;
        work closely with professional writers and software developers to gain a real understanding of software documentation;

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
        Master/Bachelor degree major in computer science or relevant major is preferred;
        Fluent in oral and written English with solid academic records;

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
        Excellent English writing, communication, and interpersonal skills;
        Knowledge of accepted technical writing principles and practices;
        Experience in translation;
        Desire to broaden skills by applying technical writing skills in a development environment
        Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Power Point);
        Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
        Good self-learning capability and team collaboration;
