1.MCU Application Engineer in Freescale Shanghai
Organization:

Descriptions

-         Support ARM based MCUchip board design, use case validation, product launch and customer activity.

-         Develop referencesolutions for industrial and consumer market with Freescale Kinetis series MCU.
Investigate and analyze industrial market applications and competitorssolutions

-         Create example and demoapplications on Kinetis platforms, and write relating application notes and useguides.     

-         Prepare technicaldocumentations and training materials and provide technical trainings forFAE/customers

-         Support sales/marketer/FAEand distributor.

-         Work with customers todevelop and analyze system and performance requirements.

-         Support designer, systemengineer and product marketer engineer for new product introduction.

Qualifications      

-         Major in CS, ElectricalEngineer, or Automation.

-         Strong knowledge andexperience in operating system core and related file system, USB/Ethernetprotocol stack.

-         Good understanding ofmicrocontroller operation, microcontroller peripherals and systems (e.g. PWMoutputs, A/D converters, Clock gatingetc).

-         Familiar with ARMCortex-M serials architecture and good knowledge and experience in C/C++ andASM programming.

2. SOC design and verification engineerIntern

Location: Shanghai

Requirements:

-         Planningand coordination of tasks to meet the design verification goals on time andwith quality.

-         Testbenchgeneration, test patterns development and simulation on module/chip level, using Verilog, System Verilog, C/C++ and other verification languages.

-         Logicdesign & implementation by Verilog for SOC and IP development.

-         Participatein logic synthesis, DFT, timing analysis and closure.

-         Write thetechnical documents/papers as required.

-         Cooperatewith and provide support to other functional teams (S&A,SW,TE/PE) in theNPI execution.

Responsibilities:

-         Master orabove on Computer Science, Electronics, Communications, MicroelectronicsEngineering.

-         with goodknowledge of IC design flow.

-         Hands-onexperience on Object Oriented verification such as UVM/OVM, C++ with goodunderstanding of compiler/linkers will be a big plus.

-         Relevantexperience on ARM, MCU/DSP based SOC design for multimedia, wirelesscommunication and consumer areas is a plus.

3.Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer Intern

Location: Shanghai

Requirements:

-         Responsiblefor analog / mixed-signal IP  design forMCU/MPU product development

-         IndependentIP schematic design / analog & mixed-signal simulation/ layout design / IPview generation / technical documentation

-         Work withSoC / Backend team on IP integration.

-         Work withtest/validation/qualification team on IP validation, characterizations andfailure analysis.

Responsibilities:

-         Master/Phd  candidate in EE

-         Solidknowledge on analog circuit design, CMOS process/device.

-         Familiarwith design EDA tool: Hspice/Spectre, Virtuoso,  Calibre, Assura, QRC;

-         Familiarwith lab equipments, chip validation and debug.

-         Experiencein power management (LDO/BG/DCDC), Serdes, PLL, OSC, ADC/DAC is a plus.

-         Experiencewith mixed-signal circuit modeling & simulation is a plus

-         Goodcommunication skills and team work

4.ARM Application Engineer Intern

Location:Shanghai

Responsibilities:

-         Developreference software for MCU products including Android/Apple Accessory, MotorControl, and Music Player

-         Customizeor develop the device drivers like I2C/SPI/USB/SDIO/UART/Flashfor customer projects

-         Developand deliver the technical training materials for MCU customers

-         OnlineQ&A support in Freescale community

Qualifications:

-         Candidateis currently pursuing Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science,Electronic/Microprocessor Engineering, or similar discipline.

-         It isexpected that candidate can work in Freescale at least 3 working days everyweek.

-         Familiarwith the C/C++ language. ARM assembly language will be a plus.

-         Generalknowledge of device drivers, RTOS (Linux, uCos, MQX, etc.) and bare metal bringup of ARM platforms

-         Somehardware knowledge, such as the ability to read schematics and understand PCBlayout is preferred

-         Experiencein one of following area is preferred:  AudioCodecs/SDIO/WiFi/Bluetooth/Motor Control
