组里对实习生要求比较高，最好玩过hadoop和熟悉java，不过最重要的还是计算机基础扎实，自学能力强。

我当初来的时候，也没玩过hadoop，也没学过java=。= 组里都是大牛，给我很多帮助。

As a Hadoop programmer and researcher, you will participate inthe full lifecycle of Hadoop research, feature prototype/design/development,performance/conformance testing and helping the platform engineering teamidentify both performance bottlenecks and feature gaps of whole Hadoop softwarestack. You will work with both Hadoop committers and Intel engineeringspecialist to solve real world problem and contribute directly to ApacheOpenSource. You will join an experienced world class engineering team who hassuccessful record on mentorship, and you will learn the cutting edgetechnologies related with Hadoop, BigData and Intel Platform. You will be actas a full-time paid researcher/developer in atleast 6 month not only build solid strongengineering skills but also establish connections/relationships with topprogrammer across world. Role & Responsibilities:

l Research on existing Hadooptechnologies and writing technical reports

l Prototype/design/developfeatures based on technical research papers

l Build/Maintain Hadoop clusters,build/innovate tools for development, debugging and issue tracking

l Identify/Fix bugs both inHadoop system and related tools

l Present technical researchpapers/reports internally and externally

Required Skills/Experience:

l Strong academic background oncomputer science and technologies, include computer architecture, operatingsystem, data structure & algorithm, distributed system, and compilertechniques;

l Solid programming skillsinclude Java, C/C++, script language(bash, perl or python), with proven record;

l Have experience on multi-threadprogramming, socket programming and jni programming

l Fast learning and can-doattitude, interesting in Hadoop/BigData area;

l Familiar with SCM tools includegit, svn, bugzilla, jira etc

l Have knowledge on JVM, LLVM,SSE will be a plus

l Good English communicationskill include verbal and writing skills

l Team work and collaborationspirit

l Master in computer science orhave proven record as skilled software developer
