Intern for Software PerformanceEngineer Intern

We are looking for highlymotivated university students to join Splunk as performance engineer intern. Asan intern you will work on real exciting projects and have an opportunity toenjoy our vibrant, startup-like environment. This is an opportunity to workwith an industry leading team to meet the challenges of scaling a big datasystem. You will have the opportunity to explore lots of new tools andtechnologies in big data world.

Responsibilities: I wantto and can do that!

•  Work with experienced performanceEngineer to carry out performance benchmark for Splunk and big data platform,such as ELK.

• Actively participate inbuilding world-class performance testing platform/service to serve all theproducts in Splunk

• Help to Integrate all performance test suites into ContinuousIntegration systems

• Assist to manage performance infrastructure and lab with docker,ansible and other DevOps tools.

Requirements

•  Familiar withprogramming languages (Python, GO is preferred)

and knowledge of computerscience

technology

•  Ability to multi-taskand manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines

•  Ability to supportothers, share accountability and be able to adapt t

o change

•  Good interpersonal andcommunication skills in English

•  Could come at least 3days/week, 6+ months plus is preferred

It would be a plusif you have that!

•  MS, Google or other bigcompany internship experience

•  Have a passion toautomate everything

•  Worked or researched onbig data domain, like ML, data mining and so o

Education: Got it!

•  Top Tier UniversityStudent in Junior (3rd year) and above major in Computer Science, Math orsimilar (currently enrolled)

我们希望你有：

•  熟悉编程语言以及计算机科学技术(Python, GO优先)

•  能够多任务状态工作，合理管理时间和资源在限定时间内完成任务

•  可以帮助支持他人工作，并适应不同的工作环境

•  可以英语口语以及书面沟通

•  一周至少能实习3天,实习期6个月以上优先
