Qualifications

· Excellent and proven PC and/or Server experiences of delivering products to market.

· Solid understanding of Intel&reg; Architecture

· Solid understanding of Operating System, Driver and BIOS fundamentals

· Good understanding (and better hands-on development/validation experience) of popular server/PC technologies including PCI/PCI-E, USB, SAS/SATA, i2C/SMBUS, IPMI, BIOS/EFI and DIMM, etc.

· Proven capability to debug & troubleshoot complex HW/SW issues related to BIOS, OS, HW-SW interaction, as well as Hardware.

· Demonstrated capability to start with use case/experience of technical features, develop technical solutions to validate features, and ensure the final high-quality to the market

· Demonstrated capability to challenge status quo of work effectiveness and efficiency and proactively lead team for improvements on day-to-day validation productivity, through such innovations as test automation

· Demonstrated capability to work within a team environment facing fast-changing requirements and complicated stakeholders, and to effectively lead/drive the team toward the right direction

Responsibilities

The hired employee will be responsible for performing EPSD (Enterprise Platform Service Division) validation through NPI (new product introduction) and sustaining phases of miscellaneous enterprise server products, including leading-edge server boards, systems, applications, peripherals, and so on. The job scope may cover board- and system-level server validations, user-oriented testing, as well as relevant debugging and validation utility development
