Sr. Front end Developer (webOS)- Mobile or Web

Description:               
Exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual with development expertise in PHP and Javascript to create a front end Web-based application for a major enterprise team. This team will focus on migrating their current PHP legacy code over to JavaScript. Fortune 500 companies will be able to view this work.

Project work will involve integration with internal RESTful JSON APIs, designing solutions against specifications provided by a UX team, and carrying a commercial service from conception all the way to deployment.

In this role, you would...
* design, document, and implement we application using JavaScript/HTML/CSS/AJAX
* work as part of a tight-knit team that spans China and US developers;
* participate in design, code reviews, and technological planning for the larger Cloud Services team.

Requirements:            
Qualifications must have:
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent training
* At least 3+ years of software engineering experience
* Strong experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS/AJAX
* Experience integrating with and/or creating REST APIs
* Solid knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object oriented software design
* Good english communication skill: written and verbal

Qualifications better have:
* 5+ years is better of software engineering experience
* Experience with backend service development, Java base or PHP base
* Or Experience with web application development on Android or iOS platform
* Or Experience with PhoneGap
* Professional experience with MySQL or another relational DBMS
* Sense of humor or at least ability to laugh in the face of tough situations (of which there will be many) is a must.
* Huge bonus points to candidates with knowledge of package management formats (RPM, Debian), Enyo, or Amazon Web Services.

Exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual with strong mobile and web development skills looking to work in the Cloud Services space creating and maintaining apps that will make use of Gram's webservice APIs. This is an emerging area for us and we are still in the early stages of realizing its full potential. We seek smart, passionate and visionary people to help us define this exciting new technology.

In this role, you would...
* design, document, and implement cloud-enabled apps on a variety of platforms (HTML5, Android, etc);
* maintain and troubleshoot existing cloud-enabled apps;
* work as part of a tight-knit team that spans China and US developers;

Education and Experience
Qualifications must have:

Requirements:

* At least 3+ years of software engineering experience
* At least 3+ years of Java experience
* Experience with using Spring, Hibernate/JPA to create or maintain a production service
* Experience integrating with and/or creating REST APIs
* Solid knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object oriented software design
* Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. The position requires constant communication with other team members.
* Experience with creating and maintaining SQL schemas, as well as using MySQL or another relational DBMS
* Sense of humor, or at least ability to laugh in the face of tough situations (of which there will be many) is a must.
* Fast Learner able to pick up new concepts quickly.

Sr. UX designer, Cloud Services (webOS)
The Hewlett-Packard webOS team is seeking an experienced User Interface / User Experience Designer to help design and build our upcoming offerings of Cloud Services management tools
and apps.


Responsibilities:

•        Design, scope and deliver products from concept to completion
•        Produce Use Case scenarios
•        Design & maintain:
o         User Flow Diagrams
o        Sequence Diagrams
o        Information Architecture Diagrams
o        Navigation maps
o        Wireframes
o        User Interface Designs
o        Design Specifications
•        Organize & maintain graphical asset production
•        Champion the User Experience and best practices to all stakeholders
•        Coordinate and collaborate with designers from other teams on overall design standards.
•        Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
•        Capability to produce:
o        Wireframes and visual designs for websites and mobile apps
o        Cross browser compliant web and mobile sites
o        Cross form factor design
o        Responsive and fluid HTML and CSS

Requirements:

•        5+ years of UI/UX interaction and design experience
•        Expertise in HTML, CSS (HTML5, CSS3 experience a huge plus)
•        Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Omnigraffle/Visio, Balsamiq and Dreamweaver.
•        Proficiency in Javascript, familiarity and ability to learn to use frameworks such as Enyo, Node, and JQuery. Understanding of MVC and Enyo experience a huge plus.
