Qualifications:

2. Specific Skills, knowledge and competencies:
- Basic knowledge of Telecommunication System and Protocol knowledge
- Good programming expertise in Linux/Unix
- Good expertise in software development and testing with C/C++, JAVA
- Good knowledge of software development process, software product life cycle. Software methodologies such as OOD and UML is preferred
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems and real time application development is preferred

Job Description:
The hardware engineer is in charge of Wireless Base Station relevant Hardware Development and Verification Test work:
1. Requirement analysis for new features in wireless system
2. Design, coding, verification, integration and onboard debug
3. Sub-system level and system level trouble shooting and technical support
4. Follow and contribute to Hardware Development Process and Procedures
5. Responsible for product sustaining, outsource qualification, manufacturing support and customer issue resolving
Qualifications:
1. Education background: Master degree or above with major in telecommunication, computer science, electronics engineering, microwave technology or related field.
2. Specific Skills:
- Strong basic knowledge on communication theory, signal processing and general knowledge on telecommunication system (CDMA/WCDMA /GSM/LTE/WiMax/TD-SCDMA)
- Familiar with circuitry design in telecommunication system. Practical experience on RTL design is preferred
- Familiar with signal processing, algorithm design and simulation tools, such as MATLAB
- Familiar with 3GPP/3GPP2 test requirement of Base Station performance
- Familiar with one of the following areas is preferred: antenna, amplifier, filter, mixer, phase locked loops, AGC loop, ADC/DAC, digital circuitry
- Familiar with following RF design tool is preferred: ADS, HFSS, CST and GENESYS
